I have so many things to think and talk about. I have my thesis which sits EXACTLY between my interests, beautifully and satisfactorily, I have this paper next to me titled "What is complexity?" for this week's journal club and I am thinking about this short video from last night seeing young Bill Gates in the parliment sit being interrogated by senators, reminding me of the time I watched Mark Zuckerberg in that sit and enjoying how he handled them years ago.
My observations make me conclude that some people are smarter than the others and they can get their ways. And the people with executive powers are not their peers and it is extremely unproportionate. You, as the smartie pants, need not just the sheer intelligence, but also need to have the knoweldge of how to handle stupid people with executive powers. And sometimes those individuals with power are not lacking intelligence but are stuck in a system which limits their cognitive capabilities and you also need to differenciate them with the other category, and find your way of convincing them not to be on your way.
This video was followed by Musk's interview where he was forcing the interviewer to mention an example from his feed because he was claiming that the feed has been more hateful since he has taken over the twitter. Of course the guy couldn't argue Musk because he was not his peer. If there were a real journalist with preparation, the tool Musk used, would have been ineffective, but these people are not peers. Peers usually don't meet peers and when they do, they either compete to death or be allies.
I am not sure why I like to think about these things and talk about them but I do. My brain wants to talk about these things with others and in the past there were no Other people, but now there are.
My books, the Hidden Girl and Other Stories, as well as the "the Courage to Be Disliked" are waiting for me at home to be read. My warm meal, my bed and my attic room which feels safe and like a hug.
At this point of time of my life, I have once again so many things that I love and this time, they align. I am not doing something else and trying to catch up with my interests, I am in the middle of my interests! This feeling was there but the difference is that this time my interests are the things I need to do. I think I am building the life I've always wanted to build. I also don't feel attacked by thoughts; it doesn't feel like I am going crazy, I feel peaceful in an exciting way.
I have arrived to the 𝒟estination you were talking about, Zahra.
